I allow myself to feel and express my emotions
It's okay to feel emotions. It's okay to express them. You don't have to hide them or pretend they don't exist. You are allowed to feel sad, angry, happy, or any other emotion that comes your way. It's a part of being human.
Sometimes, we try to suppress our emotions because we think they make us weak. We think that if we show our emotions, people will judge us or think less of us. But the truth is, it takes strength to be vulnerable and express how you feel.
When you allow yourself to feel and express your emotions, you are giving yourself permission to be authentic. You are acknowledging that you are a complex being with a range of emotions. You are also giving others permission to do the same.
It's important to remember that emotions are not good or bad. They just are. It's how we react to them that can be positive or negative. When you allow yourself to feel and express your emotions, you are taking control of your reactions. You are choosing to respond in a healthy way instead of bottling up your emotions until they explode.
Affirm to yourself "I allow myself to feel and express my emotions". Repeat it as often as you need to. Write it down and put it somewhere you can see it every day. When you feel an emotion, acknowledge it. Don't judge it or try to push it away. Allow yourself to feel it fully.
Expressing your emotions can be done in many ways. You can talk to a friend or therapist, write in a journal, or create art. Find what works for you and make it a regular practice.
Remember, you are not weak for feeling emotions. You are human. You are allowed to feel and express them. Embrace your emotions and allow yourself to be authentic.
