I am deserving of the sanctuaries I build
I am deserving of the sanctuaries I build. The spaces I create for myself are sacred and necessary for my well-being. When I build these sanctuaries, I am acknowledging and honoring my own needs and desires. I am taking care of myself and giving myself permission to retreat from the world when I need to.
Creating a sanctuary can take many forms. It could be a physical space in my home, such as a cozy reading nook or a peaceful garden. It could also be a mental space that I go to in times of stress or overwhelm. It's a place where I can feel safe, relax, and reconnect with myself.
Building a sanctuary is not a selfish act; it is an act of self-love and self-care. It is giving myself the time and space I need to recharge, heal, and find solace. By recognizing that I am deserving of these sanctuaries, I am affirming my worthiness of peace and tranquility.
