I'm truly sorry for being so dismissive
I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize for my dismissive behavior. I deeply regret my actions and the impact they may have had on you. I understand that my dismissiveness was hurtful and disrespectful, and for that, I am truly sorry.
I realize now that I failed to give you the attention and respect you deserved. I should have listened to you more attentively and taken your thoughts and feelings into consideration. It was wrong of me to dismiss your opinions or ideas without giving them proper thought or consideration. I understand that this behavior can make you feel unimportant and undervalued, and I am truly sorry for making you feel that way.
I want you to know that my dismissiveness was not a reflection of how I truly feel about you or your thoughts. It was a lapse in judgment on my part, and I take full responsibility for my actions. I understand that trust may have been compromised, and I want to assure you that I am committed to making amends and rebuilding that trust.
Moving forward, I promise to be more mindful of my behavior and to actively listen to you. I will make a conscious effort to give you the attention and respect you deserve. Your thoughts and opinions are important to me, and I want to create an environment where you feel comfortable expressing them.
I understand that an apology alone may not be enough to mend the hurt caused by my dismissiveness. I am open to discussing this further and hearing your perspective on how I can make it right. Your feelings and needs are important to me, and I want to ensure that I am doing everything I can to address them.
Please know that I am committed to personal growth and learning from this experience. I will strive to be more empathetic, understanding, and considerate in our future interactions. I value our relationship and want to work towards a healthier and more respectful dynamic.
Once again, I am truly sorry for my dismissive behavior. I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me and give me the opportunity to make amends. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
