The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen
Have you ever had a day where you just didn't feel like working out? Maybe you were tired, or stressed, or just not in the mood. It happens to all of us. But here's the thing: even if you don't feel like working out, you should still do it. Why? Because the only bad workout is the one that didn't happen.
Think about it. When you skip a workout, you're not just missing out on the physical benefits of exercise. You're also missing out on the mental benefits. Exercise is a great way to relieve stress, boost your mood, and clear your mind. When you skip a workout, you're depriving yourself of those benefits.
But when you do work out, even if it's not your best effort, you're still doing something good for yourself. You're still moving your body, getting your heart rate up, and burning calories. And that's something to be proud of.
Of course, there will be days when your workout doesn't go as planned. Maybe you didn't lift as much weight as you wanted to, or you had to cut your run short because you ran out of time. But that doesn't mean it was a bad workout. It just means it wasn't perfect. And that's okay.
The important thing is that you showed up and did something. You made the effort to take care of yourself, even if it wasn't easy. And that's something to be proud of.
So the next time you're feeling unmotivated or uninspired, remember this affirmation: the only bad workout is the one that didn't happen. Don't let a lack of motivation or a bad day get in the way of your health and wellness. Show up, do your best, and be proud of yourself for making the effort.
